I bought this S21 FE because I passed on my S20 FE to a family member. Immediately I noticed that this mobile is much faster. In my S20 FE was the Exynos 990, a chip that worked very well and with which I was very satisfied. But the difference with this Snapdragon 888 in this mobile is huge. The movements in OneUI are much smoother, quickly switching between apps is no problem. The difference in battery life is also clearly noticeable. I barely got through a day with the S20 FE (average 110% daily battery consumption). This is of course also because the battery of that device was already a year and a half old. But with this new S21 FE I have an average of 80%. That is more than enough for me to get through the day. The 120hz screen is beautiful. The animations are smooth and the colors of this screen are phenomenal. This is always the case with Samsung screens, so I expected this. The design of the S21 FE is also modern. The look of the S21 line and the S22 line is even more beautiful in real life than in photos. It is a pity that the back is made of plastic, but since I usually use a cover, this is not a problem for me. Samsung's Software was also a reason for me to stay with Samsung. OneUI 4.1 is just so much fun to use! Definitely a reason to buy Samsung.
Compared to the S20 FE, I expected a little more from the cameras of this device. The photos of the S20 FE have very nice colors and the mobile took good to excellent photos in almost all circumstances. With the S21, on the other hand, the colors are a little less to my liking. I found the color correction of the S20 FE just a tad better. What struck me most about the cameras was that they have a hard time taking pictures of moving things. For example from playing pets. This could (I think) be easily resolved with a software update. This minus does of course not mean that the cameras on this device are bad, because they are certainly not.
