JBL Quantum 610 Wireless

This headset makes the gaming experience much more complete. Sound quality is superb, deep bass and surround sound, so you can hear just about everything, which is really handy if you want to discover where your enemies are hiding. And when a bomb falls next to you, you almost get flashbacks to a war you didn't actually fight.

I hear from my friends that the microphone sounds good, I can be heard well and the microphone is of course also very easy to mute by pushing the boom upwards. I had set up the JBL Quantum Surround 7.1 (easy instructions in the JBL software), but when I connected to my friends via Discord they could hear me fine but sounded distorted to me, with robotic voices and hard to understand. I've yet to find out what's causing this, it stopped when I switched to DTS, so I've been using that setting until now. Anyway, I'm very happy with the sound quality in DTS, so I don't know if I'm missing much if I can't get 7.1 to work.

I also find the headset very comfortable, I've already had a session of about 6 hours long, and during that period I hardly noticed that I had a headset on my ears all the time. And that while I don't have a very small head. I don't think it feels very heavy and it stays in place well. The lights are nice, but I just always turn it off, it takes quite a bit of battery to keep them on while I never actually see them myself, and neither do my friends. That's not worth it to me, I'd rather have a few weeks with the battery. I also would have preferred a headset without lights, but there aren't many of them. It's nice that you have the option to turn them off.

The only downside is that you sometimes have to search a bit with the multiple buttons on the headset and other possible settings. There are multiple volume controls, plus my PC has sound settings, plus there's the JBL software--today I booted up my PC and had no sound with my headset on and connected. It turned out to be the wrong buttons. I'm going to sit there a bit haphazardly and turn it until it sounds good. Not a huge criticism, but just something to get to grips with.

All in all a very good buy, I am super satisfied with it and glad I made the investment.

I have been using the headset for a week now and I have to say that it works better than expected. The ear cups are made of leatherette so with warm temperatures it might be a bit warm but hey with warm weather we all have a fan or air conditioning nearby! The connection really great , Shop > Go home > Like crazy in that bunker > Open the box > USB dr in > Headset on your head and ram! And of course not to forget the sound, amazingly good as you can expect from JBL.
