DYMO LabelWriter 5XL

Great label printer. Initially wanted to return it because you can only use the Dymo labels. With cheaper variants, the printer gave an error. Until I read the review of someone who said the following:

Tip: Buy a roll of the new type that matches your old label. Unroll it or use it up. On the new roll you will find the RF chip/sticker at the end. Remove it and stick it somewhere in the printer. Now you can use up the old rolls. :-) "

Perfect, because now it just works.

I see people here complaining that they can't use the old labels. Tip: Buy a roll of the new type that roughly matches your old label. Unroll it or use it up. On the new roll you will find the RF chip at the end. Remove it and stick it somewhere in the printer. Now you can use up the old rolls. :-)

it is compact, small and convenient
