According to our earbuds expert
Active noise canceling mutes distracting ambient noise and white noise.
With the Sennheiser Smart Control app, you can personalize the sound reproduction via an equalizer.
You charge the charging case wirelessly.
The earbuds are water-resistant and not waterproof, so you can't clean them with water after your workout.
With the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3, you can enjoy your music even in the most crowded spaces. These fully wireless earbuds have noise canceling, which reduces ambient noise. So you won't have to turn up the volume too much in any situation. In the Sennheiser Smart Control app, you can personalize the sound reproduction via an equalizer. You can listen to the sound you like as a result. You can charge the charging case wirelessly.
Noise canceling settingsIn the Sennheiser Smart Control app, you can personalize the noise canceling in addition to the sound. You can enable this technology, disable it, or choose the special wind mode. This mode ensures that you won't be as bothered by the wind when you're listening to music. When you're on your bike or on a walk, for example.
Battery lifeThe earbuds last 7 hours on a full charge. The charging case provides 21 hours of extra battery. So you can listen to music for a total of 28 hours. You can charge the charging case via the included USB-C cable or via a wireless charger. A wireless charger isn't included by default.
Note: Sennheiser does include a charging cable, but no charger. Use your current accessories, or purchase them separately.

Wearing comfort
Design
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 is the third model in this true wireless series from Sennheiser. Thanks to the extensive app, I adjust these earplugs completely to my own taste. It just takes a long time to find the right fit.
Extensive app I immediately download the Sennheiser Smart Control app while unpacking. When I open the app, I immediately get an explanation how to connect the earbuds. When I have done this, I immediately notice how extensive and well-organized the app is. I easily adjust all kinds of things, from the sound via an equalizer to the noise canceling.
Wearing comfort is a good search Before I listen to music, I look for the right fit with the included earplug sizes. I've been working on this for a really long time, because I don't think the earplugs are ideal. I put them in my ears and they are fairly firm, but I won't be exercising with these earplugs anytime soon. They are really meant for the home and in my opinion they are certainly suitable for that.
Clear and customizable sound Having found the right fit, I listen to my favorite songs. I mostly listen to hard dance. In this genre, I like it when the low tones are powerful, but the standard sound is mainly clear and detailed. That's why I turn on bass boost in the app. This allows me to listen to powerful low tones and there is still enough room for details in the sound.
Fairly mutes voices When I switch on the noise canceling, I especially notice that voices are well muted. However, the noise canceling does not dampen everything. For example, I can still hear a door closing or my own tapping on a keyboard. When I'm on my bike, I switch on wind noise reduction in the app. Then I am less bothered by the wind, so that I enjoy music even more.

Unfortunately, I do not recommend these earplugs. The sound is fantastic and all features are also fine, but after a month the earplugs already started to show defects. The membrane of one of the caps came loose, and the noise cancellation no longer worked properly. It beeps constantly when turned on. During my search on the internet I came across more stories like this. The handling of Coolblue was very pleasant. I got my money back immediately.

Before this I had the Sennheiser CX Plus earphones, but after they broke it seemed time for an upgrade. Well, these certainly are, in every way except comfort. The sound is fantastic, there is not much more to say about it because it is actually perfect. It sounds spacious, natural, wonderfully detailed and full. The noise canceling works very well too - I'm sure the Anti-Wind mode is very effective at blocking wind but also reduces the rumble of my footsteps a lot, which makes it very useful when I go outside for cycling and certainly for walking.
The biggest drawback is the comfort in my ears - at least, from the included earplugs. The CX Plus were very comfortable in my ears with the Medium size tips, so I assumed that would fit here as well. Unfortunately, all sizes of the tips here are slightly larger than those of the other Sennheiser earphones, so that Medium is now too large but Small is still too small. Both sizes of plugs don't close well in my ears, so they itch very quickly, the sound sounds weak and the noise canceling works poorly. The only reason I know how good the earphones are is that I tried the tips from the CX on these earphones before returning the CX, it worked completely and then the earphones are 10/10. But now I don't have these caps and I'm stuck with the bad sizes.
