The brand had been fixed for a while, but we hesitated for a long time whether to go for a gas or charcoal barbecue. Ultimately I chose this one given the large price difference when purchasing gas. Now, thanks to Weber's quickstarter (including their own brickets) I have to say that starting up is a breeze. You fill the basket, 2 zip cubes and you can go back to the appetizer table. 20 minutes later the coals are ready.
We are not currently using the GBS system as all accessories cost a bit, but this will certainly change in the future. This way you can do even more with your BBQ.
In my opinion, the coal baskets are indispensable to be able to play with direct & indirect heat. They should be able to offer this as standard when purchasing a Weber.
