According to our baby monitor expert
The battery of the parent unit lasts 10 hours at most, which is longer than comparable models.
Thanks to the included clip, you can attach the baby monitor to your belt, so you always have it at hand.
You can't expand this baby monitor with an extra baby unit, as opposed to other comparable models.
With the Philips Avent SCD 833/26, you can monitor your child via a safe private connection. Besides monitoring your child, you can play a lullaby or say some sweet words to your little one via the baby monitor with the two-way audio. You can see a video of your child on the color screen. The parent unit is rechargeable and has a maximum battery life of 10 hours. Do you move around the house a lot during the day, and do you want to have the parent unit close? Attach it to your belt with the useful belt clip. This way, you can always quickly grab the baby monitor, while it leaves your hands free.

Very enthusiastic about this Philips video baby monitor. The image is very clear during the day and at night and the sound quality is also very good! I personally find the range of 300 meters a big plus. This way I can quietly do the housework and keep an eye on the baby. The talk-back function is very nice for at night. As soon as the little one wakes up, I can immediately let my voice be heard without having to get up. Finally, I am also very pleased with the reassuring songs! The little one falls asleep. All in all I am very satisfied with this baby monitor and all the extra options! I therefore definitely recommend this product!

Very nice baby monitor. We were looking for a baby monitor that did not connect via WiFi because of our new house, which regularly has a bad connection or loses connection. We also wanted a camera. Other than that it didn't matter much to us.
The connection and range are really great! We also have a connection everywhere in our extremely well-insulated new-build house, including in the garden. We are especially positive about the sound, by setting the sensitivity high you will hear every sound of your baby.
If you prefer to only hear sound without a picture, when your baby makes a sound, there is a VOX mode, ideal.
The baby monitor has a number of songs to be played remotely in 3 volumes. Didn't think to use it but our baby finds it relaxing.
The image is very clear, even in the dark you can see everything in black and white.
The only drawback I can mention is that it is best to hang it in a fixed place against the wall. We also use it with grandpa and grandma, or in our bedroom when he sleeps there, that's why we have the camera loose and look for a way to put it away and aim it every time.

Very happy with this video monitor. The range is great, there is no range anywhere in the house. Turning the songs on and off remotely is a handy function, no more having to go upstairs to turn off the songs, so that the baby wakes up again. The resolution is fine, you can see and hear everything clearly. Visibility is also good in the dark! The only drawback is that the base of the camera cannot be rotated in 90 degrees, which makes the angle a bit difficult if you want to attach it low to the bed. But this can easily be solved by simply putting it down in the bed or on the changing table. The base unit feels a bit "cheap", but this is not inferior to the quality. I recommend this video monitor if you want to keep an eye on things!
