    The Gigaset 550 is suitable for home use and includes 2 handsets, so you always have a phone nearby. The extra loud ringtone ensures you never miss a call. You have plenty of space to save up to 200 contacts. If 1 of these contacts calls you, you can see who you're going to speak to, thanks to the caller ID. You can also see what number you dial thanks to the backlit keypad. Do you wear hearing aids? No problem! With this device, you won't have to deal with white noise. This way, you always understand the person on the line.

    Gigaset: trusted, solid quality

    • Installation is easy
    • Was available as a second chance, still saves €

    • Second chance product, because I don't use it on the supplied base station I had to do a reset

    I do not use the supplied base station, but use the DECT of a FritzBox. As always with a Gigaset, registration is smooth. I had already read that the screen saver clock takes quite a bit of battery, but not on the charger, this clock turns off by itself. So that's a nice bonus. The only drawback is that if the screen goes black, you have to press a button to get "image". Often you are automatically in a menu or selection list. I think that could have been a bit more convenient: screen black = first press image on and no "action". That's why ease of use 3 stars. Conveniently, you can not only see who is calling; you can also see which number is being called: I have several telephone numbers and I can see exactly whether calls are being made for business or private purposes
