According to our processor expert
With 16 cores, 24 threads, and a turbo speed of 5.4GHz, you can effortlessly run the most demanding programs and perform many tasks at the same time without slowing down your computer.
This Intel CPU opens frequently used files faster thanks to the L3 and L2 cache of 30MB and 24MB respectively.
The 13700K is extremely future-proof with support for PCIe 5.0 and DDR5 RAM modules up to 5600MHz.
If you want to get started with 4K streaming or 3D editing, you should choose at least an Intel Core i9 processor.
The Intel Core i7 13700K is a very powerful processor from the Intel Core 13th generation Raptor Lake series. This CPU is suitable for high-end gaming as well as editing photos and videos in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro. The 13700K has 16 cores, of which 8 E-cores and 8 P-cores. In addition, the 13700K has 24 threads, a maximum clock speed of 5.3GHz, and a turbo speed of 5.4GHz. With a total of 54MB of cache memory spread out over 24MB of L2 cache and 30MB of M3 cache, you can open frequently-used files quickly and data loads within seconds. As part of the new Raptor Lake generation, the i7 13700K is extra future-proof. That way, it supports the PCle 5.0 and RAM modules up to 5600MHz of this CPU when you use DDR5. This processor also has an Intel UHD Graphics 770 video chip. You can get started with your light games or other visual creations this way.

Nice CPU, mounted in an Asus ROG strix Z790. Attention! If you buy this CPU, also order the Thermalright 1700 bracket! The mounting of the CPU is so tight to 1 side that it can bend and cause problems. I also set an under voltage of -0.15 but that does not necessarily work well for everyone and depends on your motherboard.

I have used several Intel processors. for me, this is the best processor in terms of stability, cooling, and performance for the price.

With a Corsair product with this price I would have expected an individually braided ATX 24pin connector. Unfortunately not and you have to make do with a standard hard as F*** cable that is not nearly as flexible as you would hope. Wire management is difficult with this, extension pieces also have to be worked away again. Otherwise a fine thing and a big fan of Corsair but I expected (or rather hoped for) more from the Gold line
