Elgato Stream Deck +

Ideal. The stream Deck plus goes with the apps, and the stream deck xxl shows me the profile of the "process" I'm working on (often for multiple apps at once) Rotary knobs work well if there are shortcuts in the software, for example zooming in your browser, scrolling in your media player. If it's your first stream deck I'd buy the xxl.

Admittedly, it does take some time to fully customize it to your needs. I use this stream deck primarily for Photoshop and Lightroom work. I also use it to automate various office tasks. It's really my thing, but you do need to be very thoughtful about how you use it.

A great replacement for a macro keyboard (still need a 'dumb' keyboard next to it of course).

Many useful Plugins to automate all kinds of computing. Good software. Almost endless buttons available via Profiles/Pages/Folders.

Real dials. For volume, zoom in/out documents. rotate left/right. etc.
