This makes the lens versatile, which is useful if you're on vacation. This means you don't have to change lenses all the time. Thanks to the fixed aperture, the light intensity remains the same when you zoom in. So even in low-light situations, you can take sharp handheld photos. You can create a soft background blur thanks to the 9 circular aperture shutters. This makes the subject stand out from the background in portrait photography, for example. Thanks to the silent autofocus, you can use the lens to record videos. You won't hear the autofocus motor in your recording. This makes the lens suitable for macro photography as well. If you photograph an insect, it won't get frightened by the noise of the lens.
