I doubted for a long time whether this would be the right choice, but it looks like it! I get the strong impression that there are only a few 'real' brands (Therabody and Hyperice), and that the rest of the range is 'more of the same' regardless of price point. This is reflected in build quality and therefore durability and ease of use. This Theragun Mini is the cheapest of this brand (and also the smallest, so easy to carry in the included pouch) but certainly powerful enough for me. There are 3 heads included and that is also enough in practice. The battery lasts long (enough) and is also quickly charged via USB-c. I mainly use it to massage away knots in the calf after running and that works fine. He is certainly powerful enough. It takes some getting used to how long and intensively you have to do that, but the supplied app provides good insight into this; you start a routine via the app and it automatically ensures the correct position in terms of power and frequency and also indicates whether you are applying sufficient pressure.
