Durability
We have been using an airfryer XL for years. When it died, we didn't hesitate for a second to purchase a new model. I write this review mainly in comparison to the original XL airfryer, for those who also have the choice to retire the old model. The good news: the only drawback we have found so far after the switch is that the drawer clicks out a little less smoothly. The entire construction feels a bit less sturdy, but it is still a well-built product. The better news:
With ''proper'' use, this airfryer replaces a lot of equipment and gives even better results. Crispier than in the oven, more control over the temperature than the stove, more space than a sandwich maker or toaster. We hope that it will last another good number of years, but we are sure that we will use it to its full potential.

I have used the Philips Airfryer XXL a number of times now and I am really happy with it! It's a super handy device. The software works well and the slider is sturdy. I can use this airfryer well at parties or when friends are over, as my old Airfryer was too small, so this XXL version is definitely recommended. It also looks nice and sleek and feels sturdy. The 'bin' is nice and spacious, so enough space for a lot of food. The screen and touchscreen controls are really useful and the device is also easy to understand. You can even choose from pre-programmed cooking programs for all kinds of dishes. the Airfryer is really user-friendly. And the nice thing is that you can connect it to your smartphone via an app. This way you can operate the Airfryer remotely and you have access to many recipes and cooking settings. The performance of the Airfryer is really impressive. With the Rapid Air technology you can fry, bake, grill and roast all kinds of dishes with little oil. The food will be nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, without any fat. And you can prepare enough food for your whole family in it. It is a handy and versatile device that produces delicious and healthy meals. If you are looking for a good air fryer, this is definitely recommended! Also super easy to keep clean.
