I bought the Zumo XT2 as an upgrade to the Zumo 590. I chose the XT2 over the slightly older XT because the screen is even brighter than the XT's screen. Route planning is also new on the XT2. This can be done on the device itself or via the new 'Tread' app. The routes are copied online from the Tread app to the XT2 and vice versa.
