According to our thermostat expert
You can control your air conditioner via the app, even when you're not home.
You can have the air conditioner switch off automatically when everyone has left the house.
This controls keeps track of how hot your home was throughout the day, so you can adjust the temperature to your wishes later.
The air conditioner controller only works with air conditioners with an infrared remote control that display the current settings of the air conditioner.
This air conditioner controller doesn't have open window detection.
Last year I first tried to heat the room with air conditioning with tado, but it didn't work, a Mitsubishi did. This time I tried one from Netatmo, it takes over each button separately and works without interference or refusal!

Simple and smart way to add wifi to the ac but not all functions are taken over. The app is not user friendly (compared to Nest thermostat)
