I bought this and have had friends visit me several times for a delicious waffle brunch! There are 2 sets of waffle plates included and both the Belgian Waffles and the Classic Twice are approved. The iron has a digital program that allows you to indicate how crunchy or soft you want the waffles. And the alarm simply goes off as soon as they are ready. Super handy! The non-stick coating makes the wafers slide out of the iron, as it were. And for me personally, a huge plus is that the coating is safe according to the Greenpan principle.
