USB 3.2 Gen 2Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our External SSD expert
For small files: with a write speed of 800MB/s, you can transfer small files smoothly.
Room for large files: with 2 terabytes, you have enough space for large media files and modern games.
Better protected from damage: your SSD and stored files are better protected from damage thanks to the rugged case.
Not for large 4K files: the write speed is too low to transfer large 4K files quickly.
Limited storage for 8K and games: for large game collections or professional 8K media files, you'll need more storage.

This SSD does not work optimally with Apple products with an M1 chip. It works fine on my old MacBook with an Intel processor. It took me 3 hours to figure out where the problem was. But after researching on the internet I discovered where the error lay. I returned the SSD to him and ordered the Sandisk Extreme Portable SSD 2TB V2. This works perfectly, is waterproof and of better build quality.

I have a number of these guys, they are fast, enough to run virtual machines (especially old Win95 machines) and with 2 Terabytes it takes a while to fill it up. This happened to be on sale. You can throw SSDs in your bag without the risk of damage, but always disconnect them in Windows/Linus to prevent damage to the drive due to writing errors.
