I was already sold on virtual reality (oculus quest 1) but now I'm all about mixed reality. All purchased games from quest 1 have been automatically transferred to quest 3 (without history). I do miss the long charging cable, so I kept that one, especially since the battery life is much shorter. I can't play for 2 hours! There are options to extend battery life, but this is at the expense of image quality. The weight of the headset is better distributed, but after an hour you do feel the weight. The headbands are less comfortable, but are easier to adjust to your head than those of the 1. I think the sound is very good, I am always amazed that they can get such a good sound from such a small speaker. I also never use headphones or earphones. Scanning the room to create a border works very well and so much easier than drawing a border yourself.
