The Gigaset E290A Duo is a simple landline phone for senior citizens. You receive 2 phones, so you can place 1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom, for example. That way, you always have your landline phone within reach. Thanks to the large, backlit buttons, you can also see which number you're entering in the dark. In addition to the 2 contacts you can add to the 2 shortcuts, you can also save up to 150 contacts to the large contacts list. Thanks to the extra loud ring tone and support for hearing aids, the Gigaset E290A is suitable for the hearing impaired. Missed a call? Should have bought it much sooner, clear, good sound.

  • You have to place the device exactly in the charger, which occasionally goes wrong. If it is in the right place, you will see the time on the device. They should have designed that a bit more stable.

I like the product, but putting it back in the charger sometimes goes wrong. For me at least, setting it up took some effort, but it was successful.
