Philips Airfryer 3000 Series Dual Basket NA352/00

Due to busy schedules and the fact that we like to eat healthy, we often make oven dishes at home. A 'normal' air fryer has the disadvantage that you have to prepare dinner in steps, this Philips Dual Basket air fryer ensures that you can prepare multiple dishes at different temperatures. I also love that you can coordinate the baking time so that they are ready at the same time. It took some time to figure out how to preheat the airfryer, other than just turning it on for a few minutes, but because of the RapidAir technology, preheating with this device is apparently not necessary. I don't find some of the controls very obvious. The supplied instructions for use are not of much use to me, not much is said about the symbols. In the beginning it took some searching for the functions and trying them out. I also think the beep of the air fryer is a bit too soft, but it is nice if you are preparing a snack in the evening and don't want to wake up the whole house ;)

Products are ready faster than from the convection oven and also crispier. Ultimately, this also saves energy.

As an air fryer, this device works great. Especially with the two (asymmetrical) baskets that you can set to be ready at the same time, it is child's play to prepare a full meal for 1 person in no time. The drawers go straight into the dishwasher, and you hardly have to do anything else!

The only downside to the device is the operation: There are about 8 preset buttons with predetermined time and temperature settings. Great, but none of these settings match the recipes I want to make with this air fryer: almost all presets take too long. This would not be a problem if the preset settings were adjustable, but that is not possible either. The standard time after switching on is also too long: so I always have to manually press the buttons 10-25 times before I get the desired settings. A bit of a shame!
