Well, both a nice thing and a disappointment. In use for two years now, so I can say something about it. Disappointments are the poor quality of the parts: after two weeks the foot spontaneously broke off (of the suction nozzle). Unfortunately just outside the two weeks, otherwise CoolBlue will send a new replacement device. Now put everything back in the box (fortunately I still had the box) and return it. Only the foot cannot be returned, Miele policy according to CoolBlue. After a little week, everything neatly returned (of course, as expected, the foot was replaced... A bit of a waste of the large, heavy transport, surely Miele/CoolBlue can do it smarter?). After that, I had quite a bit of fun with the vacuum cleaner for 1.5 years. No, the pure suction power is not comparable to a corded Miele cylinder vacuum cleaner, but it really does a good job. It even cleans mats effortlessly and on a hard floor it is more than sufficient. Only things like a broken glass, large pieces of paper and things that are a bit wet (spills in the kitchen) are not recommended. The rotating brush head gets dirty otherwise, and cannot handle large pieces. But that's what you can expect with a stick vacuum cleaner, so no real point of criticism.
After each vacuuming session, empty the reservoir and remove hairs from your rotating brush. Not a job for people with a fear of contamination. To maintain really good suction power, also thoroughly shake out the dust filter every few days. If you throw that in the trash, the dust will happily swirl back into your house (better to do outside).
It is heavy (or solid, if you like) but certainly with the motor at the bottom no problem at all. Everything goes smoothly. Can be converted fairly quickly to a dustbuster or motor at the top so that you can vacuum under the bed. The battery barely lasts 15 minutes on maximum setting. But you rarely need that setting. On eco or minus it lasts much longer. With two batteries I can just about manage the entire house. You do have to remember that you always have both batteries charged and ready.
After 1.5 years, the suction power really decreased dramatically. I thought something was stuck in the rod, suction nozzle. Even a simple cat grid could no longer handle it. It just fell out of the vacuum cleaner. Sent the whole thing back and (I suspect) replaced the motor. Now it works like new again. It does make me think when a motor has to be replaced after 1.5 years of not using it very much.
I happily continued until two weeks ago when the whole vacuum cleaner fell down from the wall. I was afraid that the plugs had come out of the wall (it is quite heavy) but no, the plastic had given way. Fortunately, no one was injured and the vacuum cleaner was still intact. Now trying to get the back plate from Miele sent (they accidentally sent the wrong part).
The service is good at CoolBlue. That is why it remains the store where I would always order this type of appliance (certainly washing machine/dryer etc.). Always contact with real people and great service. The same goes for Miele. They really do their best. But in my opinion, this product does not meet the Miele standard for this price.
