We have had the Philips baby monitor twice before this. Both times the battery no longer charged after a year. Coolblue is fantastic. So first a new one and then your money back. Bought this with that money. More beautiful in everything. I don't know yet what the battery will be like next year ;-)

After having had 2 other baby monitors, I am very happy with this one. So far no hassle with range, nice large screen and touchscreen that really works like a touchscreen. I find the app very useful! Many extras such as night mode, sound detection etc.

According to our baby monitor expert
With the included parent unit and the app on your smartphone, you can keep an eye on your child.
For a better view of your baby, you can remotely pan the camera and zoom in.
You can light the nursery with the night light, so you can calm down your child.
This baby monitor doesn't have a video recorder for taking photos and recording videos.
With the ELRO BC4000 Full HD, you can keep a close eye on your child. You can see your child on the screen of the parent unit or in the ELRO Baby Monitor app. You can also keep an eye on the baby room via the app when you’re not at home. With the parent unit and the app, you can remotely rotate the camera and zoom in. You can comfort your child with the 3 lullabies and the night light. Thanks to the temperature sensor, you’ll always know if the baby room is at the right temperature. The screen of the parent unit turns on automatically when your baby makes a sound. This way, you can immediately see what’s happening.
Note: the range between the camera and the parent unit is reduced if there are many obstacles in between, such as walls and ceilings. Keep this in mind when placing the baby monitor.
