According to our soundbar expert
Thanks to the included subwoofer, you hear a powerful bass and movies and series sound lifelike.
With Dolby Atmos, you hear spatial audio and you can enjoy a realistic movie experience.
WOW Orchestra, WOW Interface, and WOWCAST guarantee the perfect cooperation between the soundbar and your LG TV.
Without rear speakers, you can't hear the sound from all sides and you're not fully immersed in the movie.
Change your living room in a true home cinema with the LG DS70TY soundbar. Thanks to the included subwoofer, even the deepest bass sounds good. Thanks to this, the recording of a music concert sounds vibrant and impressive, for example. In combination with Dolby Atmos, you can be sure you get a real surround sound experience. Atmos produces sound from various directions like from left and right, and from above. You notice this especially well when a helicopter flies over the head of the main character in an action movie. Have an LG TV? You can also benefit from the WOW interface and the WOW Orchestra. With this, you can control your LG soundbar with the remote of your TV.

I had the opportunity to test this soundbar together with an LG television, and overall I am satisfied. The soundbar delivers impressive sound that remains clear even at high volumes. A big plus is the wireless subwoofer, which can be adjusted to your preference via an app. A disadvantage, however, is that the volume control makes large steps, making it difficult to play the sound subtly in the background; it is often either too soft or too loud right away.
The installation is simple: connect the HDMI output of the TV box to the HDMI input of the soundbar and then connect the soundbar to the TV. A disadvantage of this is that when the soundbar is switched off, no TV signal is sent to the television. In addition, playing sound via the soundbar when using TV apps requires additional cables.
It would be more convenient if the soundbar would automatically select the correct channels. Pairing with the current remote control is also not very user-friendly, which means that I now have to use three different remote controls.

The LG DS70TY Soundbar certainly meets my expectations, the design is nice and sleek and yet very compact. The sound that comes out is super clear and with both the remote control and the app you can fill in the sound to your own taste, making the Dolby Atmos make it seem like you're in the cinema. The user-friendliness is easy and quite simple to set to your own preference with a wide choice of different sound options such as film(s), sports, cinema, music etc. and the bass makes it all a perfect sound level. This LG DS70TY meets all expectations
