According to our drone expert
The DJI Avata 2 is a fast drone that you can perform stunts with. You receive the DJI Avata 2 drone, the DJI Motion 3 remote, and the DJI Goggles 3 VR headset. Use the remote to control the drone with hand movements and do flips to record awesome footage. With the VR headset, you can see the drone footage and it'll feel like you're flying. The Avata 2 is suitable for indoors and outdoors. You can use it for various types of videography this way, from home tours to active beach footage. Thanks to the relatively large 1/1.3-inch image sensor, you can record clear footage in difficult lighting like dusk.
FunctionsThe drone records in 4K resolution at 60 fps, which produces razor-sharp footage. You can slow this footage down once to highlight an exciting moment. If your drone crashes and lands upside-down, the drone can turn itself back around in Turtle Mode. That way, you can continue to fly without having to walk to your drone. If you post-edit your videos, record in the 10-bit D-Log Color Mode. In this mode, the drone stores a lot of extra file information so you can edit the colors very accurately.
DesignThe propellers of the Avata 2 have protective edges, so they don't break as fast when you fly into something. The drone also flies more stable this way, which is useful for narrow spaces. The drone can easily fly in a straight line.
Flight timeWith a fully-charged battery, you can fly for up to 23 minutes in hovering mode. In this mode, the drone hangs in the air in 1 spot. If you're flying the drone, it uses more energy. This means the battery won't last as long. The weather and wind also influence the flight time.

Top drone, my first FPV for me. First images look good! Too bad that no ND filters were included, especially with a video-oriented drone, which were included with my Air 2s Flymore combo. Controls are really very intuitive, the app also walks you through it well. Too bad that to update the firmware of the goggles, drone, and the motion controller you have to connect your phone wired to the goggles. I previously expected the goggles to work as standalone, or to connect wirelessly to your phone. Fortunately, the connection is not necessary while flying.

Originally just the DJI FPV drone, this Avata 2 has improved in every way for me, the most important being: Camera Format Design

Is there anything more wonderful than flying? That was the reason for my purchase, I wanted to fly and see for myself what the drone sees. Ultimate freedom, JUST MIGHTY!
