Denver MTW-1098

The DVD player is great, highly recommended for the car and on vacation.

We chose this one because of the 10-inch size and the description stating that you could use the screens individually. Unfortunately, this is not true. You can use the main screen separately, but the second screen is really purely a monitor for mirroring. It also runs on power from the main screen, meaning they are continuously linked and therefore must remain relatively close to each other. So you can't just say, "I'm charging the second one and the kids watch in their own rooms," or anything like that. Furthermore, you can only start something on the main screen and then mirror it on the second screen. Based on the description, we were under the impression that you could watch something separately on the second screen using an SD card, independent of the main screen, but that is incorrect. It's a shame we didn't know this, otherwise we would have chosen a different model.
