According to our solid state drive (SSD) expert
Your laptop or PC boots up 2 times faster than a PCIe Gen3 SSD.
With a 1TB total storage capacity, you can store around 100,000 photos or 100 Full HD movies of 2 hours Full HD movies.
You can transfer files at up to 7400MB/s speed and open them at up to 6500MB/s speed.
If you want to use this SSD in your PS5, Sony recommends an SSD with heatsink.
If you want to store a lot of huge RAW photo or video files, choose a 2TB M.2 SSD.
Note: this M.2 SSD has a PCI Express (NVMe) interface and works only if your system supports PCIe/NVMe. Check this in the manual of your laptop or motherboard.
The Lexar NM790 M.2 SSD 1TB is an internal M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD that's suitable for demanding users. The SSD card uses PCIe Gen 4x4, so your PC or laptop boots up 2 times faster than a PCIe Gen3 SSD. With a fast 7400MB/s read speed and 6500MB/s write speed, you can process data within a couple of seconds. The 1TB total storage capacity allows you to store around 100,000 photos or 100 Full HD 2-hour movies. Thanks to the M.2 2280-form factor, you can also install the SSD easily on desktops, laptops, or the PlayStation 5.
The PC I received came with an SSD with a lifespan of only 100 TBW. This Lexar has a lifespan of 300 TBW because it's manufactured in TLC. That's why it's also faster. I only use the SSD for the OS, software, and temporary files. My data is stored on a different drive. That's why I chose this option.

Easy to install, even for someone who isn't very knowledgeable. It was a bit nerve-wracking to remove the covers, but with the help of several videos, it ultimately went smoothly.
