Ease of assembly
Since October, you have to pay €4 per month to heat individual rooms with tado radiator valves. Without a subscription, they can no longer tell the tado main thermostat to turn on the boiler. I returned the products and am now opting for Plugwise. That solution is completely local, so there will never be a subscription fee.

The installation was very easy, it all looks very neat, and within 1 hour all 7 radiators were equipped with the new smart thermostat buttons and the smart room thermostat went. The setting was quite a job, so many different options, you really have to think about how you want to set everything. And, very strange, the room thermostat gives different values than the settings on the thermostat buttons.

I wanted to be able to set our room to a temperature. With Tado that is quite difficult and maybe even impossible. But I keep trying to improve the settings

Suitable for floor heating
Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our thermostat expert
Control extra rooms: you can control the temperature in each room with extra controls and temperature sensors.
Place it more flexibly: because the thermostat works wirelessly, you can place it anywhere and install it easily.
Set each radiator separately: thanks to the radiator knob, you can set the temperature for each radiator, so the heating is never on unnecessarily.
Only for thermostatic radiators: a smart radiator knob only works with a thermostatic radiator.
Subscription for automatic geofencing: you need a paid subscription for automatic geofencing.
