Sony 65-inch Bravia 8 OLED 4K (2024)

Films and series are extra immersive when I watch them on the Sony Bravia 8. Thanks to the OLED screen, I enjoy a powerful contrast with deep black levels. Combined with the impressive sound, this television is a good choice for a complete home cinema experience. Powerful OLED screen I am impressed by the image quality of the Sony Bravia 8. It has an OLED screen, where each pixel lights up or dims individually. This makes the screen display vibrant colours with deep black tones. Films and series look extra realistic and immersive, because I can see a lot of details even in the dark parts of the image. The XR Contrast Booster enhances this effect. Fast actions during an exciting car race are clearly and smoothly displayed thanks to the 100 hertz refresh rate. I also like this for games. When I play a racing game, the image hardly ever stutters. Impressive sound I am very satisfied with the sound of this television. The 5 powerful speakers of 50 watts each deliver a full and clear sound. The built-in soundbar and subwoofer provide deep bass tones and a room-filling sound. This makes me completely immersed in an exciting film. The Acoustic Surface Audio+ system makes the sound even more powerful. With this technology, the sound comes directly from the screen. This makes it feel like I'm in the middle of the action. The combination of these technologies provides an immersive sound experience, which I especially like when watching films. User-friendly smart platform This television uses Google TV as a smart platform. I notice that Google TV shows a clear menu of apps and content. Popular apps such as Netflix and YouTube are immediately displayed when opened. The platform also makes suggestions for films and series based on my search history. To do this, I log in with my Google account on the TV. I can easily operate the television with the compact remote control. It has a number of smart buttons, with which I navigate to apps such as Disney+ and Netflix with one push of a button. This works very quickly.

Very nice TV with great soundbar, good sound.

Beautiful TV with excellent picture and well thought out finish. Highly recommended. The only caveats: that the power cord is just as long as the 55 inch, which means that the cable does not reach far due to the size of the TV. The annoying voice: everything you do or click on during setup is told. Can only be switched off when setup is finished, but you have to look in the menu to find it. Cover plates were supplied to cover holes on the back. They only have plates for the legs if you put the legs on the outside. But I have them on the inside so the outside inputs are still open. You cannot order cover plates for that. The points are nothing compared to the performance of the TV. Fantastic picture and I enjoy it every day.
