USB 3.2 Gen 2Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our External SSD expert
For small files: with a write speed of 900MB/s, you can transfer small files smoothly.
Lots of storage space: with 8 terabytes, you have enough room for your largest files, programs, games, backups, and media.
For old and new devices: thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 connection, you can easily switch between older and newer devices.
Not for large 4K files: the write speed is too low to transfer large 4K files quickly.
No extra protection: this SSD doesn't have a rugged case that protects it from fall damage or splashes.

USB 3.2 Gen 2Great as a backup and as an extra drive for your laptop

Physical on/off button would be nice. Can get quite warm but not a problem.
