According to our robot lawn mower expert
You can mow lawns up to 1000m2, thanks to the wide cutting swath and powerful battery.
Via the app on your smartphone or tablet, you can easily control the robot lawn mower remotely.
Thanks to the 36% maximum incline, you can also mow hilly lawns and pond edges.
Without cliff sensors, the robot lawn mower can drive off of cliffs like stairs and ditches.
What a great mower!! Laying the wire takes some time, you want the wire to be well laid, with enough distance from the edge and enough under the grass, so that the mower does not come over the wire. But once it is laid it is a pleasure to watch!! The mower mows as you can set it in the app, criss-cross or in neat lanes. What we have also set is that it does its round every other day at the same time in the morning. This means that you only have a small piece of grass that is mowed, so you have no mowing waste and your grass is fertilized and sown by its own grass. You do not see this under your feet if you walk over the grass with bare feet, for example, because it is so small and it falls back between the grass. It is really a pleasure to sit on your terrace and watch how this robot keeps your grass neat!! Our lawn has never looked so beautifully cared for and full!! Really an absolute must and not just for very large lawns, but for all types of lawns!! Very happy with it!!

The Philips robotic lawn mower is a convenient solution for anyone who wants a neat lawn without a lot of hassle. Installation is easy with clear instructions, and you can easily adjust the cutting height to your own preferences. The device works particularly well on flat, open areas of grass and is easy to maintain. However, there are a few points to consider: laying the boundary wire takes time and the mower sometimes has trouble finding its way back to the charging station, especially in gardens with a lot of stuff. Also, the connection with the app is not always stable, which sometimes makes remote control difficult. For simple lawns this is a good choice, but in gardens with more challenges there may be better options.

I have been using the Philips GardenCare 3000 series for over 3 months now, and I would like to share my review of this robotic lawn mower.
I am mostly satisfied after my first experiences with this robotic lawn mower, although there are a few small points that I noticed during this period. In addition, I would like to specifically mention the help from Philips customer service during installation. Excellent service and friendly help! The robotic lawn mower consists of simple parts and comes fairly completely assembled out of the box. Minimal tools are required for installation. in the garden.
The manual was not entirely clear, but the HomeRun Robot app from Philips had some useful tips and pictures to help with installation. With the app you can also set and control the robotic lawn mower regarding the mowing programs and speed. The cutting height must be set manually on the robot itself.
In addition, many parts are included, such as replacement blades for the first service interval after 150 hours of use, and a large number of anchors are also included to secure the cabling. The base station of the robotic lawnmower is also delivered complete, and the power cable has an extra outlet so that the cabling can be neatly concealed.
The installation itself can be done yourself with a little skill. I quickly installed the base station, and the robot itself too. Nevertheless, I experienced a problem with the cabling, which meant that the app / Wi-Fi did not connect properly to the robot during initial installation. Because I could not solve the problem myself, I called in the help of Philips Aftercare.
After a visit from the Philips Aftercare team, the robot was properly connected, and neatly concealed in my shed in the garden and connected to WiFi.
The robotic lawnmower can be set / controlled well and almost hands-free via the HomeID app. The speed, mowing pattern and even the daily mowing schedule can be set via the app. I find the mowing result best in Slow mode.
Despite the fact that my lawn is not perfectly even, the robot does its job well, and except for the outer edges, it does a good job of mowing the lawn.
The mower navigates itself using the guide wire and GPS. It would have been better for me if the robot had only needed the guide wire once to learn, and then could navigate independently with GPS. The robot accidentally pulled the cable loose twice. I was able to easily repair it afterwards. I also find the thickness of the cable a bit too thin and fragile, and perhaps a tip for improvement for Philips for the next robot mowers.
Furthermore, the robot can navigate itself well through the garden and can independently avoid most obstacles. However, I have had to help the robot twice because it got stuck. I also received a notification of the malfunction on my phone and was then able to put the robot back down properly and let it mow again. Another advantage is the rain sensor on the robot, so that the robot automatically returns to the base station.
In conclusion, I can say that the robot mower is a fine device that really makes a difference in the garden. It saves time and effort by independently maintaining the grass, with a nice, even lawn as a result.
