Sage the Oracle Jet Stainless Steel

This machine from Sage is recommended if you want to make barista-worthy coffee without difficult settings. The device works mostly automatically. This makes making coffee very easy. Unfortunately, you do not froth milk while making coffee. I will tell you what I think of the machine here. Making the first cup of coffee I put the machine on my counter and I am immediately enthusiastic. I always think Sage machines look luxurious. The large touchscreen display also makes it look very modern. With the first cup of coffee, I can read exactly what I have to do on the display. This way I quickly know the right settings for the coffee as I like to drink it. This is also useful for someone who has little experience with piston machines. Many different setting options I think the advantage of this Sage machine is the many setting options. With piston machines you often have to determine the proportions yourself. This machine has a lot of preset recipes. Making a tasty cold brew is also no problem for this machine. I choose a coffee with or without milk and the proportions are immediately clear. This does not take away from the barista feeling, because I still set exactly how I like to drink my coffee. For example, I adjust the amount of coffee, the amount of water and the flow time. In this way, I extensively try out which way I like a cup of coffee best. Extensive settings for frothing milk After I have made a large number of espressos, it is time for a cappuccino. When I choose the pre-programmed cappuccino, I can also easily adjust the milk settings. In this way, I choose which milk I use and to what temperature I want to froth it. I find this useful, because it also allows me to make the milk froth exactly as I like it. Unfortunately, I do not froth milk at the same time as making coffee, which means that making a cappuccino takes a little longer. Clear instructions for maintenance I do not always find cleaning a piston machine easy. This machine guides me through the process from start to finish. I really like this, because it means I do not have to figure out for myself how to keep the machine in its best condition for a long time.

Very easy to use, tamp itself, has built-in lights so you don't have to turn on too much light in the early morning. Milk sensor is in the stem which means you can steam milk yourself and at the same time see the heat in the jug. The new heating element is a big difference if you come from the 'older' device. Coffee flows better and has a better color/taste. Definitely recommended and easy to use. Especially for the less experienced baristas/fanatics. It is not a La Marzocco but it is not inferior!

Beautiful and perfectly working device. Directly good coffee without mess and fuss. Automatic milk frothing also works well. Manual frothing also works fine with an even better result.
