According to our VR headset expert
With the Elite Strap and extra battery, you can comfortably play long sessions while you wear your VR headset.
The Meta Quest 3 has mixed reality, so you can combine augmented reality and virtual reality.
The pancake lenses ensure there's no distortion in the image, so you're less bothered by motion sickness.
For PCVR, you need a powerful gaming PC or laptop.
The Elite strap ensures a secure fit, which improves the image. The extra battery is handy for longer sessions. You can buy software from two major companies: Meta Store and another large one, whose name I'm not allowed to mention. But you'll find it if you search. They have a program that links to your Meta 3, allowing you to use games and programs from the other company. Sometimes the program works better if it's from Meta Store itself. It's better optimized.
The image is nice and sharp. In terms of price and quality, these glasses are highly recommended. This is partly because these glasses have "pancake" lenses, which ensure that your eyes don't have to be in exactly the right position for a sharp image. With Fresnel lenses, you have to be very precise. However, the Meta 3 Fresnel does have one drawback: dark colors and blacks aren't as dark because light and dark aren't separated as well. You can replace the face cushion with a different one; all of these are available for purchase, but unfortunately, they're not cheap.
So, the design can be improved by buying a better Elite strap, face cushion, etc. That's both an advantage and a disadvantage. Why didn't they make it perfect in the first place?
The sound is okay, not perfect. For normal use, it's perfectly fine.
Functions: games, programs like VR chat, meeting people, graphics program for creating 3D models in VR. Plenty of possibilities.
