Stylish machine I know that KitchenAid is known for the modern design of their kitchen appliances. Because of this, I expected a lot from the new piston machine. I take the machine out of the box and it meets my expectations. The appliance is not very big, so it does not take up too much space in my kitchen. Because the machine has a built-in bean grinder, I do not buy it separately. Handy, because that way there is still enough space left for my other kitchen appliances. Making coffee like a barista I operate the machine with buttons that light up when I turn the machine on. This way I choose the temperature settings myself, froth milk and set the cleaning mode. The manual clearly describes how to make a cup of coffee. I think it is very good that the novice barista has also been considered, who can also make a tasty cup of coffee with these instructions. I use the rotary knob to set the grinding degree very precisely. I like this very much, because it allows me to test exactly how I like my cup of coffee best. I also make 2 cups at the same time. That is useful when my housemate drinks a cup of coffee at the same time as me. When I turn the piston, the machine shifts a little, because it is not very stable on the counter. Easy to clean When I have already made quite a few cups of coffee, it is time to clean the machine. I press one of the push buttons for 3 seconds and the machine carries out the entire cleaning cycle. I find this very useful, because it means I do not have to figure out how to clean the machine myself. It is important that you place a container under the coffee outlet, because a lot of water comes out of the machine during cleaning.
