Tefal Blend Up BL19H4

I have had the Blend Up +2 at home for a few days now and I think this is a really great product. We have several products from Tafel at home and I am very satisfied with this brand. During testing I found out that it is a compact blender and you can easily store it because it is quite small in size. You can use the blender to mix as well as blend. I myself have made various smoothies and dips. The blender has a large cup in which you can immediately make the blender recipes that are included by scanning a QR code. Handy! The only disadvantage of the large cup is the size of the hole when you remove the lid to put ingredients in it. The blender is also easy to clean because the loose parts can easily be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. I would definitely recommend this blender to people who like ''convenience''. I am also curious about the other functions that this machine has to offer.

My previous blender had a design flaw. When I wanted to unscrew the jug, the bottom part with the blades often got stuck on the base/motor of the blender. The result was that the entire contents of the jug spilled over the motor.

That cannot happen with this blender. You can unscrew the cup by grasping the part where the blades are located and turning it counterclockwise. Then you can gently unscrew the blade assembly from the cup. Ideal. No more mess.

Pleasantly surprised by this powerhouse. It handles frozen fruit with ease. For example, if I put an unpeeled apple (cut into pieces) and celery in it, I don't even have to remove the strings from the celery beforehand. The blender is capable of "grinding" it so well that you won't find any trace of peel or long fibers.

If I have to mention a downside, it is that the cups are quite small. I knew that, of course, when I bought it. On the other hand, this blender is incredibly fast, so making an extra batch is done in no time.

The blender comes with a sort of washing-up brush in a rather peculiar shape. I don't see how this can help me clean the cups.

I rinse the cups with water immediately after use and use the cleaning program. Then no brush is needed.

The cups can also be used for 'on the go' with the included lid. I wouldn't dare say whether they are leak-proof then, as I haven't used the lids.

The great thing about this device is how fine or coarse the substance should be. The device stays in place on our countertop thanks to the suction cups that are under the device. We have already used the device for pistachio pasta, pasta sauces, smoothies and iced coffee. The device does what it is supposed to do. Besides the fact that the device is quite powerful, it is also quite heavy, heavier than it seems. It has a good engine. I definitely recommend the device. You can do a lot with it, it does its job well and is affordable.
