With the DJI Air 3S I make very sharp and clear images. It has 2 cameras for different angles. Because it is heavier than 250 grams, I need a drone course to fly it.

Drone course needed I have already tested a number of small drones, but now it is the DJI Air 3S's turn. This drone is heavier than the DJI Mini drones, which means I need a drone course to be allowed to fly it. I have taken this course and obtained my drone certificate. Due to its higher weight, I find the Air 3S less suitable for traveling. It takes up more space in my bag and it becomes heavy when I carry it with me all day. I do think it feels sturdy. It is not easily carried away by the wind.

Coincidentally, I came across the "Cellular Dongle 2" at DJI and to my surprise you can place it under the cover on top of the Air3S above the battery, then it is neatly concealed. If you place this Dongle with a data SIM, the connection between RC2 and Drone will automatically switch to 4G LTE if the normal range drops. I have tested this and it works perfectly, you can now fly further without the Drone spontaneously flying back (if there is no OcuSync range). This makes flying more pleasant without the risk of losing the connection.
