reMarkable Paper Pro with Book Case Leather Black

I had been hesitating for quite some time to buy a Remarkable because of the price and after I ordered the basic version I was fairly convinced until I wanted to work with it in the evening. Without backlight it doesn't work at all and so I considered making a more expensive investment in the Remarkable2 (with backlight). The moment I started working with it, I was totally sold; a screen that is easy to read and edit, even in the dark. Precisely because you can't view websites, receive e-mail etc. with it, the Remarkable2 is ideal for me; distraction-free work. No hassle with pop-ups that suddenly appear or insistent tones that want you to look at something else, but just a very simple device on which you can only take notes. Fantastic! Previously I did this on my iPad (with Apple Pen) but I still wasn't sure which app suited me best in terms of processing handwritten notes, page formats etc. If I had made this investment earlier, it would have cost me a lot of money that I spent on all kinds of templates for the iPad (which weren't quite right).

I would buy it again, without the book cover but with a cheaper protective cover from another brand. It works great for keeping notes and documents. Easy to create folders via the app on both mobile and laptop. It works very well. Just be careful with the unnecessary subscription that Remarkable tries to push.

Writes very well, super convenient that I no longer need notepads and can simply take notes on my tablet.

I quickly ran into the annoying ReMarkable problem: the battery would run out and it would have to be bootstrapped from a slow USB port (e.g., on a PC) to charge a few percent until a fast charger could be used, otherwise it would enter an infinite battery-low-restart loop. For a device in this price range, that's pretty disappointing.
