Miele Guard M1 S8380

The Miele Guard M1 Terra Red is a powerful vacuum cleaner with a bag. During testing, the strong suction power was particularly noticeable, together with handy user functions. However, I do find it a pity that the vacuum cleaner does not come with floor brushes for specific usage situations.

Strong suction power and smooth use The M1 Terra Red has powerful suction, especially on the highest setting. Then it almost clings to the floor. I can easily let some air escape via the air slide on the handle. This allows me to move the vacuum cleaner more smoothly over the floor. With the adjustable suction power and icons, I can quickly choose the right setting for every cleaning job. The wheels roll smoothly, so I can easily pull the vacuum cleaner around the house. This allows me to vacuum with little effort.

Handy design with smart details The long cord is handy, because it means I change sockets less often. The attachments are in a compartment in the vacuum cleaner. I can easily click them open. This way I always have them to hand. I can switch the floor nozzle for different floors, such as carpet or laminate, at the touch of a button. The large dust bag lasts a long time and closes well. This prevents dust from being released when I empty it.

No extra floor brushes The Miele Guard M1 has no extra floor brushes, apart from the combi brush. For example, there is no parquet brush for delicate floors and no turbo brush for animal hair. This makes this model less suitable for people with pets or specific floor requirements. Are you looking for a powerful vacuum cleaner for daily use? Then this model is the right choice for you.

The Miele Guard M1 vacuum cleaner is a real asset to my household. What immediately struck me was the sleek and modern design, combined with a clearly thought-out ease of use. Thanks to the automatic cord winder, tidying up after vacuuming is a breeze – no more hassle with loose cords. The vacuum cleaner with bag ensures that everything is collected neatly and hygienically, which I find very pleasant, especially with pets in the house.

What makes this vacuum cleaner truly multifunctional is the fact that you can use multiple accessories with one button. This makes it very easy to switch between, for example, the floor brush and a nozzle for furniture or crevices. The handy accessories are also ideal for different surfaces. The multiple settings, including a special one for curtains, make the device extra versatile.

I can see myself using this vacuum cleaner every day – from quick cleaning actions to the weekly major service. It makes my cleaning routine more efficient and pleasant. In short: an indispensable tool in the home.

The vacuum cleaner sucks well. But when, after a month, the telescopic tube no longer stays in place because a small piece of plastic has broken off, I am no longer happy with it. It is a shame that such a part is made of fragile plastic. You shift a telescopic tube like that quite often.
