This way, you can connect many devices at once without interference. You connect the router to the modem from your provider, so you get faster internet in a small apartment or on a single floor. With an Ethernet speed of 10,000 megabits per second, you can connect many devices with a cable and handle heavy tasks at the same time. The dual-band router splits the internet traffic between a 2.4 gigahertz and a 5 gigahertz band. This gives you a stable network, and the signal easily passes through walls and floors.
