I was looking for 3 solutions:

Connecting the TV to speakers (Dali Kupid).

Being able to stream music in the living room via Spotify.

Connecting a turntable.

This is exactly what this fine device does, and does it very well.

Setting it up is super simple. Switching between sources is very fast and automatic (configurable via the app). The TV is connected via HDMI ARC, meaning everything you play on the TV goes through the Wii Mem to the speakers. So I can enjoy it while gaming as well. I had a lot of problems with ARC in the past, but in combination with the Philips TV, it now works as expected. Additionally, it has a beautifully finished, unobtrusive appearance.

I started with a soundbar for TV and music, found out that active speakers were better, and then I came across this amplifier (it is not listed among the amplifiers) to which I could connect my 35-year-old speakers. The sound is better than 20 years ago with my old Kenwood amplifier.
