I went from an iPhone 16 plus to the Nothing Phone 3A (Pro) and what a world of difference!
The software is so intensely logical, intuitive and minimalistic that this is one of the best smartphone experiences I've ever had. The phone is super fast (which I didn't expect), charges quickly, the battery easily lasts a whole day and if you take it easy even 2 days. Furthermore, the screen is insanely beautiful and I can even see it well outside in bright sunlight. It honestly feels like a €1000+ smartphone but costs less than half.
On the back of the phone you have the so-called Glyph Interface. These are 3 small LED strips that have different functions. For example, you can use it as a flashlight or movie light, you can see who you are messaging or calling without opening your phone and you can even see the duration of your timer. Handy extra and looks super cool.
The only downside I find is the cameras on the back in terms of video. Images sometimes look a bit blurry but the photo quality is amazing for this price! I even think the selfie camera is better than the iPhone.
I hope Nothing keeps making these kinds of great smartphones because after years of buying way too expensive phones (sometimes even €1400...) this is a very refreshing experience. Expensive doesn't always mean better :)

3 years done with the Samsung S22 ultra (then the flagship) and now the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. In terms of speed in daily (multi-task) actions, the 3a is noticeably faster than the S22 Ultra. It is clear that Nothing has paid a lot of attention to this. The UI is absolutely enviable for other brands; it is intuitive but with many setting options without being imposed. The so-called Glyph is a nice visual way to see who is calling or has called. Very nice phone for people who like a new design and want to go back to basics without compromising on performance.

Nothing is still an underdog but they are certainly not inferior to top brands like Apple/Samsung, very happy with the choice!
