According to our soundbar expert
Deep bass: thanks to the powerful bass from the subwoofer, movies and series have more depth and sound more realistic.
More depth with your TV: you can use Acoustic Centre Sync with your Sony BRAVIA television, so you hear more depth.
Truly spatial audio: thanks to True Dolby Atmos, the sound feels spatial because it bounces off the ceiling and the walls.
No sound from the back: without rear speakers, you don’t surround yourself with sound and you won’t fully immerse yourself in movies and series.
Only for large TVs: the wide size means the soundbar only fits neatly under televisions that are 55 inches and larger.
I recently got the Sony Bravia Theatre Bar 3.1, and honestly… this thing is more of a battering ram than a soundbar. The bass is so powerful that I have to set it to negative by default, otherwise it sounds like I'm living in the middle of an earthquake.

Great surround set, is simple but therefore easy to operate for the whole family and that gives peace. Sound is fantastic, we only use the set for the TV and we are super satisfied. Please note the relatively short wire between subwoofer and soundbar, and the fact that everything has to be connected to the sub. And the rear speakers have fixed connectors, which is a shame. I therefore had to cut the wires to extend them and get them through the tube of the stand and thus be able to neatly work them away. In the app I miss automatic calibration and updating is a time travel to 2005: old-fashioned with a USB stick and poor instructions to get started. All in all very satisfied, because if it works you don't have to worry about it, but keep an eye on the limitations.
