Our previous Philips kettle had broken down.
This Tefal has a nice design and exudes quality. Furthermore, the risk of a malfunction with the Tefal is lower than with the Philips we had because the Tefal uses a simple internal mechanism. The Philips had a printed circuit board containing components.

According to our kettle expert
Boil a lot of water at once: thanks to the 1.7L capacity, you can boil enough water for multiple cups of tea in 1 go.
Sturdy casing: the metal casing is sturdy and lasts a long time.
Less limescale in your tea: the removable limescale filter catches limescale particles while you pour, and you can easily clean it.
Hot exterior: the exterior gets hot, so you can only pick up the kettle by the handle.
