It didn't mention that you can't use this to add a second monitor; you'll just end up with two or more identical images on two or more screens. That wasn't the intention. An extension with a second monitor (i.e., two different images, via a single computer) isn't even recognized as an extension with this (in Windows 11, with a recent new desktop). So the device is now redundant, and I've added a working second monitor in another way.
