anything for a smile
Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our television expert
Deep black levels: you can enjoy the deepest black levels and powerful contrast with the OLED display.
Better image quality: the P5 processor automatically improves the image quality of what you watch.
Razor-sharp details: you can watch sharp, detailed images thanks to the 4K resolution.
No lighting on the bottom: you don’t see any Ambilight lighting along the bottom of the screen.
I think the Philips Ambilight OLED760 is a stylish television that has a luxurious look with its sleek design and narrow edges. Thanks to the OLED screen, I enjoy deep black tones and vibrant colours, while Ambilight provides an extra immersive viewing experience.
Deep black and vibrant colours Thanks to the OLED panel, black is really black, without a grey haze. I notice this especially with films with dark scenes, in which details in shadows remain clearly visible and the contrast is extra strong. This makes images more realistic and intense. In addition to the deep black, the colours also stand out: the green of a forest and the bright blue sky look lively and natural. I notice this with films, series and nature documentaries.
Ambilight for extra atmosphere One of the best features of this TV is Ambilight in my opinion. This is a special lighting on the back of the TV that extends the colours of the image to the wall. This makes the image appear larger and viewing feels more intense. With action films and games, this creates extra atmosphere. The three-sided Ambilight lighting automatically adjusts to the images, which I think is a nice addition
Sleek design This Philips OLED TV is a sleek and modern television that looks great in my living room. What I especially like is that the screen edge is very narrow. This makes the TV look sleek and I can place it close to the wall. The design feels luxurious and fits well with a modern interior.
Titan OS Smart TV platform When I turn on the TV, the smart platform immediately opens with an overview of my frequently used streaming services. On this smart platform I also find tips for new apps, TV channels, films and series. I find this very useful, because I don't have to search for an app for a long time.

This TV is a picture wonderland. Thanks to the OLED panel, the picture quality is truly top-notch; blacks look truly black, and other colors really pop. The three-sided Ambilight also does exactly what you'd hope for, making your screen even bigger and completely immersing you in the movie or series. Especially in the evening, you'll really notice how much this contributes.
In terms of connections, you're also well-equipped; there are four HDMI ports, including one with ARC. Handy if you have multiple devices, such as different gaming consoles.
The design itself is sleek and modern, and the screen is also super thin. Only the Ambilight unit on the back protrudes slightly, but of course, you'll only notice that if you walk past it at an angle.
Not everything is perfect. The sound from the TV itself is just fine, but when you compare it to an average soundbar or, in my case, the HomePods, you realize there's still room for improvement. Furthermore, the Titan OS is reasonably smooth, but it takes some getting used to if you're used to other systems. The most popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video are readily available, but with lesser-known apps, you'll quickly run into the system's limitations.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with the picture and look of this TV. If you have a good sound system and aren't too critical of the Titan OS app store, then this is a truly wonderful device to own.
