1 2 3 4 5 I now have several Tefal products in my home and I have never really disliked them. The size of this airfryer is nice and compact and can easily remain on the counter. What immediately struck me when I turned it on was the noise level. And in that respect it lives up to its name. The clear display makes it possible to quickly and easily select the correct pre-programmed programs. The preset cooking times for those programs are also quite accurate. Although this always depends somewhat on your own taste. If you prefer it a little longer or shorter, it is easy to adjust up or down during preparation. Both the time and the temperature. The 'extra crisp' function also works well. I was rather sceptical about this. The keep-warm function is also very nice. Of course, this does not work for some dishes such as French fries or potatoes, but that is logical. We also grilled salmon and ribeye. We used the automatic function and without any adjustments a perfect product came out. Of course, that will also be different for each person. It is very nice that the container can go in the dishwasher, although washing it by hand is not that difficult either. For an air fryer it uses relatively little power and the appliance is quite light, but that has not limited the preparations so far, and it is also an option to take it with you on holiday. We are happy with it.

This week I received the Tefal Easy Fry Smart & Silence. My first impression was immediately very positive because of the stylish look, it fits perfectly in our new kitchen with the matt black finish and modern display. What also struck me first is the light weight, a big difference with my old airfryer of the "first generation". This Single Basket Airfryer has a separate grid that can easily be removed for cleaning and there is also a lid provided to simply store any leftovers in the refrigerator. Time for a first test... Fries! There are various standard programs provided, including of course fries. Certainly an added value if you want to experiment, this is indeed an added value for this machine, which refers to the Smart in the name. You can choose between frozen or fresh fries and there is also an extra crisp function provided. I was surprised by the baking time which was 25 minutes, but oh well, we trusted it. The Airfryer itself indicates when it is time to turn the food or in this case to shake it up. This Tefal Airfryer has earned its name, besides the Smart functions also so quiet! The fries came out golden brown and deliciously crispy without drying out. Thanks to the floating grid there can certainly be no fat left behind, for us a very important reason why we choose to cook with a Hot Airfryer instead of fries from the fryer. We are already looking forward to baking a lot more!
