I think the Hisense E7Q is a great television with a colorful picture and powerful sound. Thanks to the QLED screen, colors are beautifully rendered. The screen is a bit dim, though, which causes distracting reflections in a well-lit room. Thanks to Dolby Atmos, the sound sounds spacious and lifelike, creating an extra immersive viewing experience.
QLED screen with rich colors
While watching, you'll immediately notice how vibrant the picture is. The QLED screen makes colors truly pop, which is especially noticeable in nature documentaries. The deep green of rainforests looks rich and realistic, and the colors of exotic animals pop off the screen. Even in dark scenes, details remain clearly visible. This makes movies and series enjoyable to watch. However, I do see reflections when I turn on the lights in our test room. The screen also takes on a grayish cast when there's a lot of light coming in from outside.
Dolby Atmos for immersive sound
What I like about this television is the sound. Thanks to Dolby Atmos, the sound sounds spacious, as if it's coming from multiple directions. At a concert, I can clearly hear the audience around me, and at an action movie, it sounds like I'm right in the thick of it. Voices remain clear and the music sounds rich, making for a pleasant viewing and listening experience without having to connect additional speakers.
VIDAA smart platform with personalized suggestions
The VIDAA smart platform is clear and easy to use. My favorite apps like Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+ are quickly accessible, and I receive recommendations based on what I've previously watched. This makes it easy to discover new movies and series. The menus are logically structured, making navigation quick. I only noticed that YouTube was slower to start compared to other apps.
