This SSD broke after 1 year. And I'm not the only one who suffered.

A great small, light and very fast portable SSD drive.

I bought this SanDisk SSD after my previous hard drive suddenly broke down. I travel a lot and take my drive with me often, so it's ideal that this SSD is less prone to bumps and drops. The size surprised me, this SSD is even smaller than I imagined. For use on the Mac you have to reformat it, but that's done in no time. Furthermore, the disk is very fast, a backup of my entire laptop (180+ Gb) even with a USB-A connection only took about 2 hours. Despite the fact that SSD drives have fallen in price in recent years, they are still relatively pricey; at this price, you might have 3 to 4 times as much storage for an HDD. But, of course, there are high speed, good fall resistance and small size on the other hand!

USB version
USB 3.2 Gen 2Our digital expert will help you, but it can sometimes make mistakes, like humans do.
According to our External SSD expert
For everyday files: with a write speed of 1,000MB/s, you can transfer files smoothly, such as photos and text documents.
Lots of storage space: with 8 terabytes, you have enough room for your largest files, programs, games, backups, and media.
Better protected from damage: your SSD and stored files are better protected from damage thanks to the rugged case.
Not for large 4K files: the write speed is too low to transfer large 4K files quickly.
No Thunderbolt connection: the SSD reaches its top speeds less quickly.
