Thrustmaster T598 Direct Drive Racing Wheel

You really have to get used to it, and any wrong steering movements are punished harshly! It's fantastic! Now we're waiting for the pedal upgrade. #patience

Perfect wheel, but you have to connect the pedals to the correct port, otherwise it won't respond. I find the table clamp quite sturdy.

You can adjust it to increase small forces, so you can still feel all the forces fairly well at a low setting, but it's easier to leave it at the default setting, set it to 100%, and then simply increase or decrease the FFB in-game. For Logitech PlaySeat compatibility, I had to drill a lot of hardened steel. My old Thrustmaster T-GT 1 is compatible with the Logitech PlaySeat, without drilling. But it's also a Thrustmaster, not a Logitech, so that makes sense from a Logitech perspective.

The shifter paddles make a lot of noise unless you press gently, which is a bit inconvenient if you don't want to wake someone. But with frequent use, the paddles can gradually become quieter after a while. And otherwise, it's remarkably quiet.

The steering base is heavy, but given the small adapter, it's much more economical on electricity and therefore more efficient and effective. However, I haven't checked that.

There are certainly better wheels for racing games, but they come with a price tag. I don't use this wheel for racing, but for driving a truck. And for that, I highly recommend it.
