With this toaster, I can effortlessly toast both small sandwiches and large slices of bread. Thanks to the 6 browning settings, I can choose exactly how crispy I want my toast to be. However, it does not have a timer, so I cannot see exactly how much longer the toast will take.

Precisely toasting large slices The first thing I notice are the 2 extra-high and wide slots. As a result, not only regular slices of bread but also larger slices fit well inside. For example, I can toast a thick slice of rustic bread or sourdough without any hassle. During toasting, I use the 6 browning settings to precisely adjust how light or dark I want my toast to be. I like this, because sometimes I’m in the mood for lightly toasted bread, and other times for an extra crispy slice. When I see that my bread is already done, I press the cancel button and the toasting process stops immediately. This prevents my toast from getting too dark. However, the toaster does not have a timer. As a result, I cannot keep track of exactly how much time the toasting still takes. Toasting frozen bread I often use frozen bread, and that is where the defrost function comes in handy. The toaster defrosts the bread first and then toasts it immediately. This allows me to place a slice straight from the freezer into the appliance and quickly have a warm, toasted slice ready. I also find the reheat function useful. If my toast has cooled down a bit, I can easily reheat it. This way, I still eat my bread warm.

Easy cleaning After use, I clean the toaster without much effort. The crumb tray catches the crumbs so they don't end up at the bottom of the appliance. I easily pull the tray out, throw away the crumbs, and slide it back in. That saves me from making a mess on the counter and ensures the toaster is quickly ready for the next time.

The toaster does what it is supposed to do.

It's a poor product. Place a slice of bread in, it burns it, insert a slice straight afterwards it doesn't toast it. One side gets toasted, the other side warm bread. Poor, just poor. Do not buy.
