With the Ninja Luxe Café Premier ES601EU, I can effortlessly make coffee like a barista. The machine guides me step by step, from the correct grind size to making cold brew. It is slower than other piston machines, though.
Smartly choosing the right grind size
I grind the beans using the integrated bean grinder. Normally, I adjust the coarseness myself. This piston machine helps with that. I place the filter holder under the grinder with the appropriate container for my coffee type. For a cold brew, I use the large container and for a double espresso, the medium one. The machine tells me the grind size to set, so I don't have to think about the settings.
Easy milk frothing
The automatic milk frothing system works very smoothly. I fill the milk jug with whole or plant-based milk. Thanks to the handy measuring scale in the jug, I know exactly how much milk I need for a cappuccino, latte macchiato, or cortado. I can easily adjust the thickness of the froth using the buttons below the display. With the push of a button, I briefly turn on the steam wand after use to rinse all the milk residue out of the wand.
Cold brew in 10 minutes
On hot days, I like to make a cold brew. First, I take the large filter basket for the ground beans. When I place it under the grinder, the machine automatically displays the options for large coffees. This includes cold brew. I remove the drip tray and coaster from the piston machine. This allows a large glass to fit under the brewing unit. I choose the XL option, and that way I can easily make a large iced coffee.
Always perfectly tamped
The tamper on the side of the machine has a pressure regulator. Normally, with a tamper, you control the pressure yourself. This sometimes causes the coffee to flow through the filter basket to vary. With a pressure regulator, I don't have to think about that. This way, the extraction is the same every time.
Everything at hand
I store the loose parts neatly in the compartment on the side of the machine. There's a spot for every container in the storage compartment. Even the maintenance parts fit in there. This way, I don't have to search through every cupboard for all the parts every time.
