The microphone's lighting (red only) consists of two zones (top and bottom) that can be individually adjusted with the free downloadable software.

However, this software must be activated during PC startup to retain the previously applied settings; otherwise, the settings reset to the microphone's out-of-box settings (until the software is restarted). However, this isn't really a problem, as the software runs smoothly in the background.
